Especially during the summer, many people see their balcony or terrace as the place to relax, and it should naturally meet various personal requirements.

However, one thing should never be overlooked: safety! The origin of a railing is to provide fall protection, which is regulated by building codes.

Your Personally Designed Balcony Railing

We define a simple design as clean lines, basic post caps, or balcony railings made from flat or round steel. However, it’s not our vision that matters – you can let your personal taste run wild. We create your custom railing that perfectly complements your house design, modern and elegant. Nearly anything that can be made from steel is possible; our craftsmanship is only limited by physical feasibility. A simple balustrade doesn’t mean “basic,” but rather beautiful! For example, weld points hidden from view and many other fine details. Especially with modern balcony railings, the small details matter. Every outdoor product is hot-dip galvanized to ensure maximum corrosion protection. The color is, of course, fully customizable.

Safety in Balcony Railings

As mentioned earlier, a balcony railing is a safety element subject to various building regulations. All details can be found under DIN 18065 and building codes. We are happy to assist with any questions you may have. Fall protection for elevated terraces or mezzanines is specified in the building regulations. What is often overlooked are the gaps between the floor and the railing, as well as the space between the balusters. A child’s head should not fit between them. Additionally, a ladder effect should be avoided.

As you can see, there is much to consider. Therefore, it’s important to hire a professional company to take care of this for you.
