Planning modern fences and fencing systems

It all starts with the decision: What kind of fence do I actually want?

Modern fences of all kinds need to be planned first. Here are some tips to help you make the right decision and think about the small details in your planning.

Our Tips for Your Fence Project

  1. Take a look at your house and property. Is it modern and elegant with simple lines? Then the decision regarding the style will likely be made quickly.
  2. What color should the fence be? Look at your window frames – they can be an indicator of whether light or dark colors would fit better. This should at least help a little. Of course, your personal taste also plays a role here.
  3. Do you have a dog or another pet that shouldn’t leave the property? In that case, pay attention to the distance between the bars! It should be a bit closer.
  4. Do you have children who love to climb? Then the tops of the bars (palisade caps) should be flat or round.
  5. Consider the legal requirements. Under “Fencing of Properties,” you can read all the regulations applicable to your state. Since we operate nationwide, we’re happy to help you discuss the regulations for your specific state.
  6. Don’t forget to check if you need a building permit for your fence.

The Property Enclosure and Modern Fences

A property enclosure is a world of its own. At its core, it serves just one purpose: to define the boundaries of a property. It prevents humans and animals from entering or leaving the property. But is that all it really is? A fencing system is also always a design element for a building, green spaces, or facades. It gives your home a special modern touch. Everything comes together seamlessly, and the garden gets a new look. From experience, we can say that customers often start with a cheaper version and then realize that they would have preferred to invest in a beautiful fence from the beginning.

What many don’t know is that simple or elegant fences are often not more expensive!

As a customer, you face the challenge of choice. The most common decision is for mesh fences, as they are often the cheapest. The result is typically as expected – simple and plain – but the cost of modern fences doesn’t usually have to be much higher.

Our service always includes a free and non-binding offer. You’ll be surprised.

Design and Patterns, an Elegant Enclosure for Your Property

As a forge, we of course have a huge selection of different pattern types and decorations. How does one find the right design for themselves? This is where we help. Custom patterns, whether elegant or modern, are no problem for us. Straight lines or curved bars? Palisade caps with spikes or rounded? We’ll work with you to find the perfect design. Below on the page, you’ll find some modern fences. These patterns are small helpers for you and a preview of what we’ve designed and crafted in recent years.

An Important Part of Property Enclosure: Measuring and Installing Fencing Systems

What does this mean? Quite simple. If you take a look around your surroundings, you’ll notice a few small but fine details.

  1. Your property has a curved layout. If the measurements are not done correctly, the curve won’t be smooth, and the fence panel won’t fit. When it is installed, the result will be “an uneven appearance.”
  2. Your property has a slope. If the measurements are wrong here, you’ll have height differences at the posts or fence panels, which will make your modern fence look unattractive.

The same applies to the installation. A lot can go wrong here. A straight layout and soft ground create the right look and feel for your elegant fence! That makes all the difference! A professional company pays attention to detail. It doesn’t matter who sets the columns or posts.

We are happy to assist you with your upcoming project. Of course, we are available with our expertise to help you.
